Yeesh Video Premiere on RedEye Chicago

Tiny Engines issued Confirmation Bias, the sophomore LP from Chicago, IL's Yeesh in the Summer of 2016.

The video for "End Results" premiered today on RedEye Chicago!

The album premiered in full on The AV Club and the band was recently named one of 'Five Rising Chicago Artists You Need to Hear' by Consequence Of Sound.

Yeesh functions like a less-sardonic Shellac, using chest-rattling bass lines and prickly guitars in the same way, but with a twinge of optimism that makes all that tension rewarding. - The AV Club

The Chicago trio don’t dodge genres, but rather play around with them. They deliver lines with the heart of emo but the scratches of post-punk. On this year’s Confirmation Bias, the group’s sophomore LP, Yeesh explore territory that’s equal parts noisy and introspective. They’re reviving a post-hardcore sound that touches on Japandroids’ energy and Cloud Nothings’ anger... - Consequence Of Sound

Chicago three-piece Yeesh specialize in needling, fussy, and elaborately constructed bits of math-punk. - Stereogum

Tiny Engines welcomed Chicago three-piece Yeesh to the roster in 2016 for the release of their sophomore LP, Confirmation Bias. While the band has been around since 2010, they have truly hit their stride with their first two full-lengths. On their sophomore LP the band rides the wave of momentum from their well-received debut full-length, No Problem, issued in the Spring of 2015 on Already Dead Tapes & Records. Continuing the trajectory from their debut LP, Confirmation Bias sees the band honing their sound even further. Yeesh pull from many different strains of the indie rock cannon to create something unique, yet familiar. From the sharp, twisted edges of post-punk to noisy grunge to melodic post-hardcore with strains of emo, Yeesh's songwriting moves swiftly and slyly, never standing still for too long. Yes, the band covers a hell of a lot of ground but they do it all naturally and with supreme confidence. With Confirmation Bias, Yeesh move beyond their influences and morph into a full rock behemoth that demands your attention.
